I started my own business because I realized there was a need.  Speech and language was more than just about the children.  Before I started my own practice, children would come to wherever I worked and we would treat them.  Then they would go home.

This wasn't a bad model, but I could tell it simply wasn't enough.  Children only spend one or two hours a week at most with us in sessions.  What I realized is that if families, schools, teachers, administrators and the community all became part of the treatment plan, we could get children to their ideal speech and langugage abilities much sooner.  This is why I started Talk Time Speech and Language Services.
